PYSA Uniform Information

The PYSA Board is pleased to announce to all parents, players and coaches that we have decided to change the Pentucket uniform. The green shirt and orange socks was the original PYSA uniform and after 18 years we thought we would update the logo and uniform as the manufacturer has stopped production of that design.

After much discussion we considered phasing the new uniform in starting with the fifth grade players, however the logistics did not work as many rosters are “mixed” with fifth and sixth graders. We decided to take the plunge and ask that all current u12 and u14 players purchase a new uniform for the fall 2008 season.

We looked at over 15 shirt designs, some with matching shorts and we selected a new shirt design that works with solid black shorts and white socks with green stripes. We also had to design a new logo and we worked with Whittier Tech and they gave us several great options. In the end we decided on a traditional soccer “club” logo that will be placed in the center of the shirt.

Uniforms can be purchased at The Soccer Shoppe on Main Street in Georgetown, MA. We have Bob and Jen at the Soccer Shoppe with a list of all players and assigned shirt numbers. Team assignments and rosters are not available thru Bob and Jen.

We recommend that you bring your son or daughter into the store to try on a shirt & shorts for size by August 22 at the latest. Bob and Jen will then process your order and your uniform can be picked up in one week. The uniform package will include a shirt, shorts and two pair of socks for $40.00.
